Hardline Life Vest (PFD) Handles

It's impossible to attach the plastic clips to a life jacket. Life jacket straps are wide, folded in half or folded in quarters to make it thinner and there is still no way to get the straps inside the clips. They should have made the clip differently. I could always replace the clips by busting the pastic and putting small caribeaner hooks in there but then the handles wouldnt sit that close to the jacket and the passenger may not feel secure. You are better off just holding onto the straps of someone's jacket or putting your arms around them. Oh well. I tried. This one will be returned.

Perfect idea, but the designer obviously has never actually installed the handles on a pfd. The clips do not open enough to slide the life vest strap through it. It took me 20 minutes and a lot of aggrevation to install it. God hoping I don't need to transfer it to another life vest, I can't imagine going through all that work again.
