Surprisingly good product
I was skeptical about this item HOWEVER, I'm going to order another one. This item hangs on the wall with a series of nails in a strip on a metal mounting bracket. The TV has another strip that connects to the one on the wall. I'm sure it takes the principal of the 28 lb picture hangars and expands upon it. I have plaster walls and I've had my 50" mounted with this for over a month now. So far so good. Comes with a level so you can make sure everything is straight. A lot simpler than the other heavier wall mounts that go into studs. There are a lot of nails to put in the wall so when you take it down, you'll have to do some patching.
