If your current mailbox is secured to any type of wood 4x4 configuration, you can modify it by cutting it to a straight up 42" (MUST BE 42") to accept The Handy Post Sleeve. The reason for the 42" wood height is so that when installing your mailbox mounting plate, there will be something for your screws to engage. This post setup will accommodate a single mailbox of any size and support up to 100 lbs. This aesthetically pleasing, economical product will enhance any home, business or neighborhood property.
