Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel Electric Kettle, Tea & Water Kettle, 1L, Black Accents

This kettle heats 3-4 cups of water faster than my microwave or stovetop, and even after it shuts off, my water stays hot for a good while! Perfect for my herbal tea or for quickly heating some water to make pasta on the stove when I don't wanna wait forever for it to boil! The top has an opening where you fill it that is pretty dang narrow, so if you have larger hands, you'll definitely need to buy one of those sponge brushes to clean the inside. I can just barely squeeze my hand inside and I am a petite woman. I was actually scared once because my hand was kinda stuck inside, but I finally got it out. I would ONLY recommend this kettle if you use distilled water in it, as I can see this getting caked up with mineral deposits that are impossible to get to and scrub off of the inside after a while. This small opening is my only reason for dinging it one star. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. Still, it is better than those wide, squat-bodied tea kettles with small openings and the long neck that are generally harder to clean, in my opinion. The price was reasonable and the quality seems good, but I have only had this a short time. Time will tell if the electronics hold up for any length of time. I personally like it thus far, and I believe I would purchase it again if it ever needed replacing.

I've had this for a month or more now. Works very well at a good price. I was tempted to buy those cooler looking, more expensive ones, but this does a very good job. Heating up at the top line probably takes 3-5 minutes and keeping the water hot/warm stays for probably 6 hours. Recommend!
