Brighter than anticipated but works like a charm.
The color chart on the side shows very little change to your hair color. So I was not expecting much, maybe a slight hint of pink, but I got a lovely shade of dusty rose bordering on purple. If you are going to use this type of dye and want results the best practice is to wash your hair one or two days beforehand and DO NOT PUT ANY PRODUCT IN. YES you are going to have messy hair. If you have oily hair only wash it the night before. Dry, porous hair will do day with this. Comes with stress putty and an eye mask to use while your hair is working. Don't be surprised if you have very little results. That's what they advertise. Before the picture my hair was platinum blonde.

Doesn't work
My daughter has light blonde hair. We followed the instructions exactly. While the foam was still on it looked like it would turn out great. But when she took the shower after just over 30 min it all washed out. In the sunlight, you can see a slight difference but you won't notice if you weren't looking.
