I'm sure it would work for other types of hair but it is very dry, that's not waxy it's a very very dry Matt product. my hair is short kind of pixie like, and blonde. I need something that is a bit less dry but nothing that's going to make my hair look like it's wet. so the product is a very very dry wax.
