This product is marketed as a detangler but I have flat hair and it gave my hair lift and body. It even added a little more shine to my hair as well. I don't recommend it for a detangler but for women with flat lifeless hair or dry dull hair, I absolutely recommend this brush to add smooth body and shine to the hair.
