This works great for my 2 kittens. The only bummer is one of the zippers came without the latching lock. I zip-tied that one, and use the others with the latches for opening. The pop out feature works well, and I keep it like that when not in use for them to play in %26 on. Frame is sturdy and holds their weight, even when on top of it. The same can't be said for my 16lb cat. It caves if he's on it, as expected. The sturdy boards that line it don't sag and do velcro in place. I have to surface wash and air dry them because the fuzzy liner isn't removable from the board. The mesh hasn't torn yet and they play in/on it pretty hard, which includes scratching and biting. When driving, I seatbelt the whole thing in. I prefer to wear it on front for now, but fits well both ways. I'd recommend it for small to medium sized cats. Glad I purchased it.

I have two cats and a small dog, and almost everyday I've taken one out for a trip in it. My dog prefers it to walking! My cats loved it right away, they jump right in and even sleep in it. I tried one of the plastic-fish dome looking ones and this bag was substantially larger. It's comfortable to walk and hike in and has small buckles on the zippers to make sure they can't undo it from the inside. My only downside is to be careful in the heat- it's quite insulated!!
