The quality of the HP 61 XL ink cartridge is superior; even when it looks like it is ready to run out there is still 25 - 30 full page copies that can be printed. I have purchased a generic cartridge in the past to save money and it did not make half the copies that the HP does.

LOVE HP PRINTER PRODUCTS

The product's box was opened when I received it. However, the plastic packaging was still on the cartridge so I assume it's fine. I've never used anything but HP printer products and I am always a happy customer. I have never had an issue with any of HP's printer products. When copying something with a bold font, you do need to allow the ink to dry so it doesn't smear. The pages always look crisp and clean!

XL in printer ink is always the best option.

I did not like having ro wait 8 days to receive the ink, as no stores within a 30mile radius had any. But now that I have it I'm pleased. I purchased the regular size and ran out of ink in 3 weeks. I will only buy XL from now on, as the value of spending a few extra bucks is well worth it. I also like that they give you the option to recycle the old cart with a postage paid envelope to send the enpty cartridge back. Highly recommended.
