HP 24yh 23.8-inch Monitor 60.45 cm (23.8") FHD (1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz) Up to 60 Hz

I upgraded from a 22 inch monitor to this HP 24 incher. I measured the screen dimensions and did the math: those two diagonal inches provide about 25% more screen area. I like how the map of the controls appears on the screen (on top of each button), making it easy to navigate through the menus. I like that you can turn off the blue LED. The picture is fine for my purposes (music production and YouTube content) the anti-glare works fine. The lightweight but sturdy plastic desk mount was fine, but I suspend my monitor on an arm that swings out over my drum kit and I loved that I could remove a tiny metal hinge (which snaps securely into the bottom of this monitor and allows the vertical plane to tilt slightly but perfectly) by unscrewing three easily accessible screws. Then I easily attached this metal hinge to my monitor arm (made from a heavy duty gate hinge holding a wooden swing arm) instead of the 100mmx100mm VESA standard mounting screw holes (which are also provided on the back of the thin light weight monitor). The cables plug in upward so they dont stick out and bang into my swing arm. Oh and finally: The frame surrounding the screen is so thin that the actual physical dimensions of this 25% larger monitor is about the same as the smaller screen I replaced. I have no regrets! This monitor will be in front of me several hours per day for years, and that is fine by me.

The increased color and detail make great to us. Along with the increased size of the screen compared to my old one make doing photoshop airbrushing fun again.
