HP 15.6" FHD Touch, Intel Core i3-1115G4, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Silver, Windows 10 (S mode), 15-dy2132wm

The HP 15in laptop core i3 with 8GB is pretty light and thinner than what I'm used to. Noticed that battery is already installed but still got to remove most of the keyboard and bottom just to find the core. I found on the Step by Step sheet easy to read and work with. Easy to set up with the wifi and charging it with the AC adapter. Keyboards keys nice with no clicking noise from pressing them or sticking, the screen is simple with camera built in at the top. The only thing I do not like about the laptop features is its lacking a CD disk drive on the side & that`s very important to me cos i use it a lot on my HP desktop but this is a good price for a laptop.

I was a little worried that, with a new laptop, it'd slow me down, having to learn this and that all over again. Instead, I was glad to find that everything about this laptop has been quick, easy, and fast to get used to. First, it starts up very quickly. Next, this Windows laptop came in "S Mode," so I had to opt-out to turn it into a regular Windows machine. I actually only had to answer two questions and wait a couple minutes and I was done. Now I could load whatever programs I needed. The performance of the laptop has been really solid for me. There's no hold-ups or buffering or waiting around for things to load. It even charges up quickly and I can go from nothing to about halfway in less than an hour. The sound works well, too (in stereo). It's quite thin and is easy for me to carry since it is so light. More importantly, though, is how comfortable and easy to use the keyboard and touchpad are. I sat down and started typing, the first time and I just got focused on my work and I was adjusted to it and comfortable in minutes. Now that I am working from home, it seems like video conferencing is one of the most important computer functions for me. With my family often home while I'm working, I frequently need to be able to move the laptop to another room to chat. Also, with the dual microphone system -- which seems to mainly pick up audio spoken directly at the center of the laptop -- noise is no longer a problem during video conferencing. The video quality is good, too, even in less-than-perfect lighting.
