Nice bacon, fresh and was a pickup order. Thicker than regular bacon but not as thick as other thick brands. Good ratio of fat/meat. Just the right amount of salt.

It's so good! Meat candy! I love bacon, but i've got some that I didn't care for and I've started paying wide eyed attention to brands, what they were smoked with, etc. I had a sad experience with GV Hickory ... oh this blows it away, it's gooood and delicious. The smell when it starts to cook is really nice and it cooks well and the result is nice. I will buy this again and again. I'm currently firing up a different type package of Hormel just to see what it's like and also, i ran out of what i was eating soooooo..... I might be sold on this brand.
