Twelve 3m strings of lights for $10 is an excellent deal and expecting perfection is silly. At least two of these appear to be "cool white" vs "warm white" which really doesn't matter for the project at hand. And one string did not light at all (again, at 84c each, it's hardly a big deal and a small string from last year was found to complete the dozen needed in this project). These lights use button batteries, so the switch area is much lighter than other battery-powered fairy lights, and the plastic tabs can be re-inserted for storage. Quite happy with this purchase.

I was a little concerned about using these lights after I received them. The wires were very tiny and looked fragile. But upon unraveling them they worked great. One light did not work at all. So I was only able to use 11 out of the 12. They worked beautifully in the centerpieces of a Christmas themed retirement party. I was able to put some of the lights in the jars then around the greenery on the tables. I twisted them back up in the way they came and put them away for next time. That makes them easy to store.
