For perfect pocket pastries, simply roll out dough to desired thickness. Use the flat edge of the Empanada Press to cut a perfect circle of dough. Turn the press over, lay the cut dough over the teeth, and gently form a well in the center. Spoon filling into the well, moisten dough edges with water, and fold the press closed to crimp and seal the pastry. Bake, fry, or steam the filled pastry according to the recipe. The locking pin holds the press closed when not in use for easy, compact storage. Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.
