It meets my price/performance requirements. Hercules has been developing, delivering and refining tires for more than half a century. My satisfaction with the tires I have acquired for my vehicles relates directly to how well I conveyed my desires to the tire technician. The two main factors in tire selection are cost and performance, i.e., mileage. There is a relationship in that high performance tires cost more that standard tires. A purchaser can achieve the mileage of high performance tires by maintaining a sound maintenance program. I choose the mid range tires and take care of them. Choose the tread pattern and tire composition for the season you will do most of your driving in. A winter tread will not serve well if you only have two weeks of winter as well as a summer dry season tire will not work well in winter. I choose an all season tire and drive accordingly.
