HEET Heavy Duty Starting Fluid is a special formula starting fluid with upper cylinder lube and corrosion inhibitor. HEET starting fluid is safe for oxygen sensors and catalytic converters. It is for use in all gasoline and diesel engines in cars, trucks, tractors, buses, marine engines, lawnmowers, snowmobiles, snow blowers, and construction equipment. This starting fluid saves starters and batteries by helping get engines started quickly. This product comes in a convenient 10 ounce aerosol can. Do not use in engines with manifold heating aids or precombustion chambers with glow plugs. Stand away from engine compartment to avoid potential injury. With ignition turned off, spray starting fluid into the air intake for two-three seconds. Start engine. Caution: Excess starting fluid can cause serious damage to pistons and gaskets.

Danger: Contains diethyl ether and petroleum hydrocarbons. Extremely flammable. NFPA30B level 3 aerosol. Do not use near fire, flame sparks, or any source of ignition. Danger of explosion - do not let aerosol can contact battery, battery terminal or starter solenoid. Do not spray while starting engine - conditions exist for sparking, fire and explosion. First Aid: Do not take internally. Always get prompt medical attention for ill effects which persist or appear later. If fluid gets in eyes, immediately flush area thoroughly with water. Remove any contact lenses, then hold eyelids open and continue flushing for 15 minutes. If inhaled and overcome, move victim to fresh air, restore breathing and get immediate medical attention. Ingestion: If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Call physician or Poison Control Center immediately. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents my be harmful or fatal. Keep away from children.

Starting Fluid very useful with inadequate chokes.
Starting fluid (containing ether) spray is very helpful in starting lawn mowers that have an inadequate choke, particularly when the cover over the mechanism also contains the starter cord so the starter cord cannot be pulled when the cover is off.
