Works great for poultry brooders

I use these in my poultry brooders instead of white/red bulb heat lamps. They work great and I don't have to worry about the chicks getting cold. They work exactly like a heat plate without the expense. I use these with either a reptile double lamp that has seperate switches so I can adjust the amount of heat by adjusting height and/or number of bulbs in use, or in a reptile single bulb lamp depending on what time of year I'm hatching birds and how much heat needs to be offered. These are much more versatile and do not need the amount of room the lighted heat bulb fixtures do.
