I purchased a floor lamp with a glass shade in the past. The glass shade was broken during shipping. Consequently, I had to return the lamp. The Gymax lamp was packed exceptionally well in styrofoam. I set the lamp up and I turned it on just prior to writing this feedback. The lamp is great!!
