8K Greatness

I had held off from purchasing an 8K TV until now, it has become affordable to justify the cost to venture into the land of 8K, I purchased the 65" QN800A and the Q950A soundbar at the same time for the use in our front room. I knew 8K would be amazing, but not this amazing, I am glad I allowed the technology to gather time to sort the teething issue's out and iron out the cost at the same time. This TV is epic, I mainly use my front room for Netflix/Amazon/Now TV with my girlfriend and these get upscaling to 8K with little effort and amazing results - you can actually see the difference (quotation from my girlfriend whom doesn't understand the difference between resolutions, but she actually said that!!). The other main thing is my gaming, the One Connect Slim Box has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports (yes x4 ports!) (Which gets very hot as a "normal operating temperature" - Samsung CS confirmation) and my Playstation 5 comes to life with the Game Mode settings (Sony need's to unlock VRR!). Vivid colours now pop in full RGB, 4K120 is impressive and the game mode locks at 4K 4:2:2 - Will Sony allow or unlock that 8K badge on the retail box to actually be used!? I have never owned an OLED, but this TV has a massive peak brightness over an OLED screen and actually makes you narrows yours eyes to adjust to bright sun, the blacks are blacker than black (not OLED blacks, but are the best blacks I have ever seen on an LED screen - which are silly small sized) the local dimming can show some blooming, but is only noticed if you look for it with dark scenes and white text. Would I recommend this TV, yes definitely and the girlfriend also gives the seal of approval. Go bigger if you can afford it, or even go for the QN900A and this was not justified in my costing of value with the Soundbar also - which is soooooo worth it with the Q-sound settings.

Awesome Experience with Samsung QLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best TV ever! Go with this one without a doubt! I upgraded from a 10-year-old plasma tv so my experience with the 65” QN800A Samsung Neo QLED TV has been awesome. Amazing picture quality, the remote control is very chic, love the brightness. Please check the pictures I attached. Highly impressed with new features that are innovative and convenient for gaming. Such as multi-view and the auto-detect GameMode. The sound quality is perfect and I don't need to get a soundbar. The audio is smart and it is automatically adjusted based on the scene. In addition to hardware, the new design is really smart that doesn't need any extension. You can easily AirPlay your phone on TV, or watch any of the TV apps of your interest. Samsung TV is another benefit of this TV that you can watch several channels for free. Another feature that also made me really happy is that this large TV has a centered stand, which lets you fit it on any TV stand. I highly recommended it to all my family friends

Best Gift Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife got this for me as a gift, and I am blown away! I've never owned a tv this amazing. The picture is just fantastic, there aren't words to describe it. I keep inviting friends over to see it because I can't capture how clear the screen is with my phone camera. The large number of inputs is also a huge bonus. No more jostling around behind the tv to switch between game consoles. They can all stay plugged in! We have it hooked up to a soundbar and subwoofer which makes our room into a theater, but the tv's speakers themselves are great, which you don't often find in thin tv's. This tv also comes with apps for exercising, and background art that are pretty cool. The split screen features is awesome. I can't wait to learn more about this tv as time goes on. The clarity is just amazing, and the blacks are so black. I look forward to many hours spent in front of it!
