Using this reel for big snook off bridges and for tarpon. Absolutely love this reel! It's a lot lighter than my friends 6000 saragosa, it has more drag than his 6000 saragosa, it holds more line than the 6000 saragosa and it's cheaper than the 6000 saragosa and it's only the Cabo 50! What's not to love?!

The Quantum Cabo 50 is a high end reel that can take whatever you dish out... I've caught large striped bass, false albacore, chomper bluefish, and all species in between and this reel doesn't even blink. Prob the best reel I have ever owned!

The cabo is an excellent reel. The amount of drag pressure is uncontested for a 40 size reel. I find myself reaching for that reel and rod setup for any structure fishing where I need to horse out a big fish! I am hard on my reels and it has not missed a beat. Truly an engineering marvel.
