. Shake can thoroughly before use. Directions:. Spray with can in Upright Position. Insert plastic tube firmly into valve button. With Engine Off and Cool: Carburetor - Remove the air cleaner and clean the outside of the carburetor and all of the linkage. Avoid spraying electric connections. Manifold Heat Control - Spray Gumout® on exposed ends of cool heat riser shaft. Allow to penetrate and clean. Move counterweight up and down until free. With Engine Running: Carburetor - Spray Gumout® Tooth ends of the choke valve shaft while working choke by hand. Spray down and around the carburetor throat to remove deposits from the throttle plate area. Do not spray down carburetor throat with engine off. Do not spray below throttle plate. Choke - If choke sticks, remove choke cover and spray. PCV Valve - Disconnect the crankcase side of the valve and spray Gumout® into the open end of the valve while working the plunger back and forth. Not Recommended For Fuel Injected Vehicle. If sprayed on painted surface, wipe off at once. 50 State VOC compliant. Will not harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors; however, avoid spraying oxygen sensors to maintain proper engine operation.

Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. Keep away from heat, sparks, flames and other ignition sources. Exposure to heat may cause can to burst. Avoid breathing of mist and vapors. Use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wash thoroughly after handling. FIRST AID: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call physician immediately. For eye contact, wash thoroughly with water. If inhaled, breath fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Call physician immediately. Use only as directed. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and/or inhaling can be harmful or fatal. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. FOR HEALTH EMERGENCIES CALL: 1-877-504-952. Easy solution
My push mower would not stay running. Changed spark plugs and tried cleaning the carburetor. Improved but still had issues. I sprayed some of this in the carburetor and my mower started and stayed running- awesome! Such a simple solution for a great price. Try this first for people with issues.

I started working on a Go-cart as a boy in the 1960s. I have used all brands of carb cleaner at one time or another, and this Gumout brand is as good as any in current times. None are as strong as the old stuff that would blister your skin. This has enough pressure to clean most passages. Sometimes, you will still need a microdrill bit to open the smallest ones. Other passageways will need to soak for a bit to soften up before they clear out. The best tip is to run most gas engines out of fuel before storage. I add a fuel shut off to equipment that doesn't come with one.
