the best

mine is ten years old it has been pulled over by bittersweet and wind. we keep pulling it back to vertical. it keeps on hunting. I am going to add another this year in a ifferent area. this time i will bring the ladder to the rear part of the stand and I am going to fabricate 320 degree 1/4 " azeck type material. sprayed with camo paint to make a solid wind break for the cold new england deer season at 67 it shoud last 20 years

Great for long term single location

I was pleased with the quality and engineering. I had only 1 hole that didn't perfectly line up and a round file fixed that. The one complaint is that that the advertisement gave no prior warning as to it's difficulty of raising the tripod upon completing the assembly on the ground. In the instructions it says it takes 3 people to raise it. I happened to have a friend who is 6'3" and about 270 lbs, so both of us did it without a third. I nievley thought this was something I could put up by myself for a 2 or 3 day hunt on public land than take it down again by my self... nope, this is a great stand for setting up on private land and leaving it up. It took me at least 4 hours from opening the box to sitting in the seat. But I would imagine it would take an hour ish to take it down and break it down into four main parts and long bracing sections, keeping the platform all in one piece. Or you could lay it whole on a big trailer and move it to another spot on private land and tilt it back up (2 or 3) people needed. But you couldn't transport it whole on a public road as it is to wide. I really did like the quality for a china made product.

Great price

Great stand for the money. Leg braces hard to put together. Nuts bolts need to be in labeled packs like the 1 1/2 man stands are.
