With an extra coarse thread and Type 17 point, this screw is ideal for use with pressure treated lumber, cedar, and redwood. The proprietary PrimeGuard Plus polymer coating offers rust resistance, protecting the fastener against corrosive elements for long-lasting durability. This 2.5 in. deck screw is suitable for decks, fencing, siding, and other general exterior applications, and comes with a TX25 star drive bit for added convenience. Please note that cedar and redwood may streak or stain when used with any coated fastener; stainless steel fasteners are recommended for those wood types. Package counts are approximate.
