Perfect wood filler for cypress knees

This is the best wood filler I have used for cracks and gouges in cypress knees. It is super easy to apply and stains, paints, and sands just like wood. I bought the small size to try it, and I am ordering the larger size today. I use it almost daily, and it makes a big difference in the quality of the finished knee. (My wife and I paint landscapes, Santas, and snowmen which we market) After the Christmas rush, I will go back to carving works of art with my cnc carver. I've not yet tried the Dap filler on the carved items, but I look forward to trying it. I expect it will do an excellent job. I do finish up some cypress knees year-round, so I think I will be ordering this again in a few months.

Update easy to use filling in

Ok so i sanded and applied my 2nd layer sanded again after just an hour and added a little in the divets i let that dry again an hour and sanded...pics below This piece i used it on is 1950's and shabby chic'd no need for it to absolutely flawless (justifying)....however i was able to build the bottom and fill in this cavity ...the big chunk of wood missing that made this piece ugly is now in the past...just need to do a little more sanding, chalk painting and its as good as the rest of the original wood....smooth as a babys butt :)

Life saver of a product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog chewed the leg of my end table. This wood filler was so easy to use and made it look brand new again. I kept adding layers until I got the desired thickness for the leg to match the others, then lightly sanded to smooth it back out and shape it. I then chalk painted over it and gave my tables a whole new look! This product was so easy to use, and saved me from buying new tables. It dried pretty fast too. I was able to finish my whole project in a weekend. I keep looking around to see what I can renew next!
