Shop Use
Being off-grid, and having a workshop filled with electric- power equipment makes it prudent to have surge protection. This particular APC Surge Protector is perfect for my particular application. That it mounts on the wall, and has a ten-foot cord gives me flexibility. No power surges as yet (that I'm aware of); but I'm confident that my equipment is now well protected. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

A Great Surge Arrestor / Extension Cord
This is a handy six-outlet surge arrester in a slim compact package. The ten-foot cord is handy if you need a medium length extension cord. Great for meetings where you need to hook up multiple devices where outlets are not necessarily handy, and surge protection to boot. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

When you need the reach of a long cord
This is a far better solution than stringing several surge protectors in a line. A couple of our buildings don't have outlets every three feet; we needed the reach between outlets to plug everything in. This surge protector keeps our equipment protected without having to drag an extension cord first or having to link several surge protectors.
