the chocolate taste quality has really diminished. not enjoyable as I remember. the new owners have lost that rememberable iconic Hershey's chocolate taste. it's tasting like a cheap, fake,(eg. Palmer's candy) chocolate. I used to love melting one of the eggs in my mouth it just gave me a real good feeling

Beware! Something's wrong with this batch…gross

I purchased a bag of these Hershey chocolate eggs on March 5th 2023. When I opened them up they had a terrible smell! It was like a horrible rancid smell. I don't know if it was a batch issue or if they changed the recipe, but the smell was awful! I opened one of the chocolate eggs to see if maybe it was just smelly trapped air in the bag, but the actual candy egg smelled even worse! I didn't even eat the one egg I opened because I was afraid of getting sick. I returned the entire bag of chocolate eggs to the store for a refund.
