Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Quality All-Purpose Mix is an all-purpose seeding mix specially crafted for Northern lawns. This quality blend of Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, and Fine Fescue thrives in sunny and shady areas and quickly repairs bare spots on your lawn. In addition, each seed is coated to absorb 2X more water than uncoated seed. Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Quality All-Purpose Mix is designed for full sun and light shade, and has a course bladed texture with medium drought resistance. It can be used to seed a new lawn, overseed an existing lawn, or repair bare spots. For best results, apply in the spring or fall when air temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 80°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. One 20 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Quality All-Purpose Mix has a new lawn coverage of 2,665 sq. ft. and an overseeding coverage of 8,000 sq. ft.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THIS GRASS SEED. YOU CAN COVER MORE SQUARE FOOTAGE THAN WHAT IS LISTED ON THE BAG. WE COVERED THE SEED WITH A LIGHT DUSTING OF TOP SOIL AND WATERED LIGHTLY ONCE A DAY. GERMINATION TIME WAS LESS THAN SEVEN DAYS AT 60 TO 70 DEGREE TEMPS. NEW BABY GRASS IS DOING GREAT. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
