DO NO buy this. It does not work, buy the generic

Whoever told you you needed this specific part from LG is WRONG. This tool does not work for LG Kenmore washers. You will not be able to install or uninstall an inner spring with this. The generic 10 dollar ones do work though.

What a horrible, useless item. Why would I buy a pair of pliers like this that can't close the gasket rings fully? This tool is because the gap between the ends of the ring are about four inches apart, so the last half inch which is the hardest I'm supposed to do while holding this with my other hand in a crevice that I can't see? Absolutely pointless
