Reliable UPS

I love these UPS devices. I used them at my old job at a corporate office, they worked great.. with those tripp lite power strip looking UPSs we would come into work after a power outage and always a few would be beeping.. not with the Eatons once we switched.. now I use them at home.

Good UPS, not the best support

Eaton does not make it simple (or really possible) to set up an account on their website for warranty purposes. You must remember to open the front panel and connect the battery cable to enable the UPS. It's been reliable for the past month.

Ships in the original packaging, arrived broken

Be careful ordering this from Walmart.com - other sellers may be OK? Mine shipped in the original packaging and the only thing holding it together is a small security seal on one end and a box flap overlap on the other. Mine appears to have fallen out of the top, where the security seal was, the Styrofoam packaging was broken, the UPS is rattling and banged up. Replacements are not allowed, even though it gives the option for one, so the way is to get a refund but only if you jump through hoops with customer support. Definitely consider shopping elsewhere, where they'll properly package a 26lb UPS filled with batteries.
