Decent, no roosting bars, needs good wood glue.

I picked this up as a starter kit. Sure I could have used some spare wood etc to "build" a coop but to make anything good for the birds, easy to maintain and quick to get going I'd be hard pressed and spent far more on cattle guard, hardware cloth, etc. This thing has problems but so far they are easily remedied with some good wood glue, patience and a decent impact drill with tap control. Images posted are 20 minutes of work not including unpacking. I found a lot of "split" bits to glue yet none of them were structural. Just good preventive care I say. Time will tell but I think this is worth the cost with one exception. It has NO roosting bars and while easy enough to rectify yet another cost. Might be better options for prebuilts out there due to this.

Very displeased and slightly angry

The wood on this product was damaged, unevenly cut, no predrilled holes, and the instructions are ridiculous. It's all pictures and numbers..not very helpful. I also dont understand why they stained and polyurethaned some of the wood, but not all. It would be nice if it all matched. If I REALLY didn't need it right away, and I hadn't assembled it before realizing I would've returned it. Very disappointed and will be forced to buy a better one in the near future. You get what you pay for!
