Before purchasing, I read the reviews and knew the battery life wasn't long so that wasn't a surprise. I get about 30 minutes on a charge and it takes approximately 20 minutes to recharge the battery. I am okay with that. The power behind this is phenomenal and I can move a lot of leaves in that time. The weight is well balanced. I am 73 years old and I am pleased with the purchase.
