It's worth it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far quality seems good, no problems found. I have had this rider for about a month now and really like it. It's quiet and smooth. Best part, no gas, no oil, no sparkplugs, no dead battery, no engine starter to go bad, no air filters, NO BELTS or pulleys, no loud engine noises, no hot exhaust catching stuff on fire. As you can see the list goes on. Never going back to gas again. My die hard old school neighbor checked it out and after 3 minutes he was sold, said he plans to sell his john deere zero steer after this season and pick up this rider for next year. My wife loves it cause it is easy for her to use and also she can mow the grass while our baby is taking her afternoon nap and not worry about waking her up. The six batteries last more than long enough to do my 1 acre of grass about 3 times before I need to charge.

Save time, money and effort with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After decades of gas powered mower issues like bad gas and bad carburetor and oil leaks and smoke, noise, not starting, belts popping off, running out of gas finally this fixed all that and more. Full batteries will mow our place 5+ times and a couple hours fills them pack up. The mower is completely quiet until the blades are engaged but still far quieter than our old mower. Worth every penny.

GreenWorks 60V 42" CrossOverT Riding Mower

I've had a lot of riding mowers in my day, but this one tops them all. An absolute dream to drive. The build quality is supreme and the cut quality is beautiful. I have about 1/4 acre that I mow and it uses about 20% ( /-) of its charge. I've never tried to see how many times I can mow my yard on a full charge, but I'm sure I could mow it more than three times. It takes about two hours to re-charge the batteries with the plug-in charging port at the back of the mower. I've calculated that it costs me about $0.28 cents per mow at $0.14 cents per kw hour (the electric rates where I live). I absolutely love mowing with this wonderful machine. It has brought enjoyment back into lawn care. I've cut my mowing time down and feel like I'm riding a golf cart. Its the most fun I've ever had while mowing the lawn. I live in Texas and the quicker you get your lawn done and get out of the heat, the better. I'm glad I bought it. I don't spend time changing deck belts and transmission belts, air filters, carburetors, or wondering if its going to start every spring. Some folks in the comments talk about the "reverse" buttons. In order to mow in reverse, there are two buttons to push and these buttons are on the right side of the driver, on the control panel. For me, its just fine. I don't mind one bit and I understand why they designed it like that. If they were to put hydrostatic foot control on it, the price of the machine would be increased by a very substantial amount. The sales of this machine would suffer and put it out of most people's reach. I'm impressed with this mower just the way it is. I like that they put a plug-in charging port at the rear of the mower and you don't have to remove the batteries to charge it. I like that they redesigned the control panel and now there is a large LED monitor to select different functions of the mower which includes GPS tracking. This mower is an upgraded version from previous models and more user friendly. My mower came by freight and arrived in perfect condition. Took a couple of hours to get it set up and running. The gear box oil is the only oil that has to be changed. The drain and fill plugs are located under the rear storage trunk and I watched a couple of videos on how to do it on social media. The oil (4.4 ounces 85w140) on this mower is easy to do and took me about 20 minutes. Not a big deal. I'll change it again at 50 hours, then again at every 200 hours. For me, it takes a full season to get to 50 hours, so it will be several years of mowing to get to 200 hours. I'd say that's just fine and so much easier than a standard gasoline powered mower. Yes sir, as we say in Texas.... This dog will hunt! Y'all take care
