My 69 year old dad was highly skeptical of an electric lawnmower. He's been having issues keeping his fairly new zero turn John Deer riding mower going. The grass was knee high, so I ordered this to at least cut around the front yard. He was surprised with its power and how well it cut. We love that there aren't belts, fuel lines, oil replacements, etc. The battery life isn't a problem because we would never be cutting for hours on end anyway with the summer heat. My eight year old son thinks it looks like a sports car and can't wait to be big enough to use it himself.

I originally purchased an Ego, thinking I bought the best. It was such a disappointment. I returned immediately as my thumbs had to do all the work. I began researching again and wanted as wide as possible and something that wouldn't destroy my hands. This lawnmower makes me want to cut my lawn again. I hope it continues to run this well. I did not want the massive 80 volt battery. For me, a woman who isn't getting younger, does not want to hurt myself carrying and inserting a monster battery into my lawnmower after charging. The 60 volts are great!
