My dog needs to take a phenobarbital pill twice a day. It was a struggle using peanut butter and trying to cover the pill then smearing it on his pallet. He would occasionally spit out the pill . I use to give the pills in Vienna Sausage but it's costly %26 not good for the dogs health. Give this product a try. Note: manifacture if you could make the pill a little harder maybe add Knox gelatin it could stay firmer?
