Very nice plastic material, very nice colors for boy that wants to serve mom a coffee. There are no boy looking Tea sets out there for them to play kitchen cafe store with mom and dad. You can wash them and poor water or whatever they feel like putting in and play pretend. I throw them in the dishwasher, nothings happened to them there yet. The kids bang them and throw them and they are still looking nice. A good gift for sure.

The set is beautifully made, easy to pour and the saucers help with a little overflow! They used the creamer as a pitcher so both could pour at the same time! Next day we had to make cookies so we could have another party!
