This product is excellent for night time sleeping. It is so much better than an ointment. I highly recommend Systane Nighttime Gel Protection Dry Eye Relief. I have dry eyes, and this gel keeps my eyes moist until morning. When using other products my eyes felt like they were sticking to my lids when I woke up!

Thick gel applied at nighttime. Sight is a little blurry right after application due to thickness if gel but lubrication lasts longer. Works better than some other "gel" brands I've used.
