K9 Advantix II helps defend your dog against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, and lice. Simpler than a flea collar and troublesome pills, this vet-recommended topical formula works within 12 hours of initial application, killing adult fleas on contact to stop existing flea infestations and prevent new ones. Once K9 Advantix II is applied, your dog is ready to get right back to the things it loves most. K9 Advantix II pest protection is effective on both indoor and outdoor dogs. Your dog should be at least 7 weeks old and weigh 21-55 lbs. to use K9 Advantix II Large Dog. K9 Advantix II Large Dog is a trademark of Elanco or its affiliates.

The product label states: Causes eye irritation. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Avoid contact with skin. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after handling.
People with known hypersensitivity to benzyl alcohol, moxidectin, or imidacloprid should administer the product with caution.
IF IN EYES: Hold eyelids open and flush with copious amounts of water for 15 minutes. If eye irritation develops or persists, contact a physician.
IF SWALLOWED: Call poison control center or physician immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or physician.
IF ON SKIN: Take off contaminated clothing and wash affected skin immediately with plenty of soap and water. Call a poison control center or physician for treatment advice. In case of allergic reaction, contact a physician.
Do not allow children or other animals to come into contact with treated animals until the application area is completely dry.
Disposable gloves are not required (not mentioned on label), but they may be considered when applying this medication.
Must NOT be used on cats or in households with cats. Permethrin is toxic to cats.

My groomer recommended the K9Advantix because I was having no luck with the oral flea treatment. I live i a very dark wooded area and it has been extremely wet this spring. Fleas are thriving. But my dogs so love to run in the yard and especially while I am in the garden. In less than two weeks my two small dogs and the house are flea free. VERY PLEASED.

Best Flea and Tick protection, Best price
We have used Advantix II on our Springer Spaniels, and have never had any problems at all with fleas or ticks. We live on a mountain in PA, and the dogs are outside with us a lot, and we don't have to worry. We also have ponds, and there is added protection from mosquitos. Great product and with in store pick up from Walmart you can't beat the deal.
