Please redesign and cover the camera button

Have been using otterbox defender cases for the last 15 years on phones and tablets. They are the toughest cases and I have never had a device damaged. My only complaint on the 16 pro case is the camera button hole. Why?!? It is the most annoying thing ever. Why leave it exposed? It bothers me enough that I really want to change cases, but I am afraid my phone won't be protected with something else. It gets touched unintentionally ALL the time. It is awkward to hold and just all together a terrible design. If there was a different option that was the same durability I WOULD DEFINITELY CHANGE.

Big Disappointment

The magnet isn't strong. It doesn't connect securely. The case already looks trashed because everything sticks to the material. Grant it, I have a somewhat dirty job as I am a mail carrier but I bought an Otterbox because of it. When it first came in I loved it! The color was pretty. I ordered the denim blue. I haven't even had it for two months and it looks awful. The dirt and dust sticks into the texture. I am quite disappointed. The outer shell doesn't even fit that securely. Big let down, Otterbox.

Exposed edge of iphone

I have had an otterbox defender series case on every iphone I have ever owned starting with the iphone 3. They have survived multiple war zones and global living/travel without fail. I don't buy phone insurance bc the otterbox defender series makes insurance unnecessary. However, my newest defender series case has caused me to question my position. The case cuts away around the push to activate the camera button. The case leaves the edge of the iphone exposed and vulnerable to damage. I hope that otterbox revamps the design of this case to fully protect the iphone.
