Save electricity
The "Tripp-lite" power strip works well and is quite durable. It allows you to switch off the flow of electricity on individual sockets as if you've pulled the cords out of a wall socket, instead you just switch off one or all, except for one switch that always stays on. This power strip can save electricity which may lower your electric bills. I highly recommend buying it.

Bought two, hoping for three
Terrific product. SO much easier than plugging / unplugging an item. SO much more control than "everything on" or "everything off." SO safe, so green (saving energy), what's not to like? Not to mention the protection in case of a power surge. If only, if only, Tripp-Lite made the exact same product with a flat plug, I'd be a happy camper. But if they do, I have not been able to find it. I'd buy it in a heartbeat, I *wish* it existed, so I could buy one or more. Can't find anyone who makes such a thing. Too bad, I want at least one. I'm in the "Granny" age category and individual on / off switches sure beat crawling around on the floor!
