Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix, 15.25 oz.

Spice cake may seem like an unusual choice for birthday cake. I have a severe dairy allergy, and it's made events like birthdays very difficult. However, I was overjoyed to discover that most Duncan Hines cakes are dairy-free! Next to the rainbow chip I can never have again, spice is my favorite. I always make my own cake on my birthday. I used some of their recommended ingredient swaps and my secret recipe for milk swap. I topped it with an artificially flavored cream cheese frosting. It was fantastic!! It was almost like sponge cake and so soft to the touch like a skein of bamboo yarn. I'm not the biggest cake lover, but I practically inhaled it. I savored every slice and cupcake and ate every single bit of that cake in about a week. There were no leftovers. I don't even want to wait a whole year to have it again!
