If I had a choice, it's Great Value hands down!

I used to be a Charmin girl. For years that's all I bought until one day the Great Value brand walked into my life and I have never looked back. Seriously though, this toilet paper is way better than the soft pillowy feeling of Charmin (in my humble opinion). I do love Charmin but if I had a choice it definitely would be the Great Value brand.

Comparable to name brands I feel like I'm getting more for my money by buying great value brands. This product was recommended by family and friends who've been buying this product for years. I never expected this brand to be better

This is better than Charmin. It's strong and CLEAN… like Charmin claims. It lasts longer not so much that the rolls are larger but because I don't need as much as. It's thick however easier disintegrating than Charmin. There is nothing wrong with that brand. I was simply surprised that a generic brand was cheaper and better than the name brand. If you find that the shelves are empty of your favorite brand, don't fear trying this.
