Quite pleasantly surprised at how soft these are! I have a permanent sinus issue. If you need a tissue on occasion, super soft is nice but not necessary. If you are ill or otherwise and need a dozen to dozens a day, soft matters! Still, budgets have to be worked with. It is an absolute joy to have cozy, soft tissues for an affordable price!
