first time (used vinegar and water)use make sure you drain it before using it or youre water will taste like vinegar. runs great does not make alot of noice water is cold and also hot water isnperfect temperature for tea or fast cup noodles. with a toddler the hot water has a slide button in order to dispense hot water.

I love this water fountain, I wish I would have gotten one a long time ago! Living in a apartment building, I was not drinking the tap water, but lugging cases of water to my apartment! When the box first arrived I was a little concerned that it was bigger then I had expected, but I soon found out that it fit perfect in my spot! Just looked bigger in the box, I proceeded to unpack it and left it stand for 12 hours like the instructions said! I had purchased a 3 gallon liter of water before hand, and the reason for this is at 78 years old, it is very hard to lift the 4 or 5 gallons of water that can also be used in the fountain! I then proceeded to clean the water fountain following all instructions, using vinegar and water, last step I run clean water through it a few times, to get rid of any vinegar that might be left in it! I then put the 3 liter jug on it, pushed the button and I had fresh clear cold water! Next I tried the hot water and sure enough I had my hot water for my tea! This is so convenient for me, I can fill my to go bottle and not have to worry about lugging water cases again! The water fountain seems to be very sturdy, and certainly does not take up that much room! Only problem is you need to have a outlet close by other then that I am really happy with this.
