Great Value Unsalted Butter
I prefer unsalted butter for cooking and baking. It's a very practical choice for everyday use. Aside from the price the only difference to a top-shelf brand like Kerry Gold is about a 10% lower fat content which is said to make a difference in flavor (higher fat content = more flavor). The 10% can easily be compensated for by adding another fat like Olive oil.

Great Value Sweet Cream Unsalted Butter, 16 oz Box, 4 Sticks This butter keeps well in the fridge, it remains firm without melting. It spreads on toast with ease, and taste great on vegetables. I have not used it to cook eggs yet but from my experience with this butter I believe it will cook eggs nicely.
