Instructions
The internal temperature of this productmust reach at least 165°F as measured by a food thermometer. Make sure it is cooked thoroughly by checking the temperature inseveral spots. For easier slicing, place the sausage chub in the freezer for 10 to 15minutes before slicing. Slice completely thawed sausage into ½ inch thick patties.Place patties in a cold skillet and cook overmedium heat to a temperature of 375°F.Cook for approximately 5 minutes on eachside or until the center is no longer pinkand has an internal temperature of 165°F.Can also be crumbled and fully cooked.

Really good value sausage
Bulk sausage is a specialty item since the spices used vary so much from brand to brand. This is a pretty middle of the road sausage that works well for many applications. I have used it for years and know what spices to add for different recipes. It makes good sausage gravy with just enough fat to produce a good roue. It works well with onion and ground red pepper for cabbage rolls. Crumbled and drained it makes a good pizza topping. It's just a dependable sausage at a reasonable price and freezes well raw or cooked.
