I love the taste
I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews. First I will say if you use Braggs Nutrional Yeast or similar products you will notice a difference in taste and color. I have been using Braggs for a while and was never a fan of the flavor but it wasn't bad either. The synthetic vitamins in Braggs give it that bright orange/yellow color. This product only has the vitamins and minerals in the the yeast. I prefer the taste of the Great Value Nutritional yeast. In fact I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it so much I would eat it with a spoon. I say give it a try you may like it but don't expect it to taste like the other nutritional yeasts brands with the brighter yellow/orange color.

For those managing CKD, Diabetes and other ailments that can be nutritionally controlled (albeit challenging), finding a substitute for anything dairy is huge. This is a great stand in for parmesan! I use it on salads, over cassaroles and anywhere I would normally use parm.

so excited I tried this! I use it like parma ! shake it on pizza and salads . healthier than cheese and has that cheesy taste. also has a cheesey consistancy like in a fetticcini. soaks up the liquid. does NOT taste " weird". super mild. NO yeast taste
