Why oh why did I waste money on anything else? Great Value Mint Chip Ice Cream is hands down the best Mint Chip ice cream on the market! With its unbeatable price it's that much more enticing. The mint flavor is so refreshing and the chocolate chips are plentiful! You want nothing more than a chocolate chip in every bite and you get it with this. For the lowest price in town, this is as good as any other brand. The paper carton can be broken down flat but it can't be recycled because of the plastic coating, that is still better than plastic tubs. GV ice creams now have a perforation on the shrink wrap seal around the lid. Until recently a knife was required to cut off the tightly shrunken clear plastic seal. The mint is as you would expect it to be and the chocolate bits in my carton were nice and small so there is no dealing with larger hard chunks that challenge your teeth when frozen. This GV item has increased about 75 cents in the last year but other brands have almost doubled in price in my town.

It's budget friendly enough that you can buy a few flavors for the family.. The last slumber party we had was a blast, in part because of the economical snacks we purchased from Walmart.
