Heavy duty aluminum foil is easier to handle than the regular aluminum foil,sturdy so you use less. This 18inch size has so many uses.I can line the bottom of my oven. I can fully cover or easily tent a roast,whether it's chicken ,beef ,or pork. I can make the best pie crust protectors,or slip a sheet over the top of a cake for more even baking.In my crockpot,a sheet placed over the top of a Great Value parchment sheet,then pressed down a little and covered with the lid lets me cook efficiently at the lowest setting,keeping more heat in the crockpot. Easier to handle and keep the shape you want, heavy duty aluminum foil is a kitchen essential !

an indispensable tool

Great Value is a quality foil and a great value. I'm going to use to cover my Christmas turkey with. This is substantial and sturdy foil and the width is great to reduce leaks and keep the heat and moisture in. Just be careful when handling before cooking especially. I've had ladies tell me they've had the turkey thawed one or two weeks before the holiday dinner. Big no-no due to bacterial growth . They've said they stuffed the turkey the night before. This means the bread has all night to soak up the raw juices. I could go on and on, but I do understand what a big job it is prepping for this dinner. If you're unsure ask or Google for safety. It does fine. It's quality feeling, the same thickness as the name brand. I can recommend and it's always good to save a little $. It's a little hard to tear. But all aluminum foil makers have that same problem with the metal teeth not functioning well.
