I have ordered two of these shells twice, each time they arrived in good condition with home delivery. Seems they don't survive intact when shipped instead. One of these shells, some banana slices and a cheap pack of GV pudding makes an instant pie at home for about $3. As an experiment I tried making a pumpkin pie with this shell, it was OK but the bottom became thick and gummy like a sticky noodle. Before giving up I'll try the chef's trick of spreading and baking egg white in the shell before filling it to prevent a soggy shell. The ingredients are far and away more healthy than a bleached white flour and lard pie crust. The aluminum pan and re-closeable plastic dome cover are really handy and totally recyclable. Please do not buy this if you won't recycle.

This graham cracker crust is pretty good. Also reasonably priced. 4 stars for taste and 1 star because of packaging. My concern is the excessive glue under the label on the plastic pie cover. It's difficult even impossible to remove the pieces of glue that's left behind. I covered the inside of the top with plastic wrap. I didn't want the glue to get into my pie. I may not buy this pie shell again.

Nonremovable sticker on cover/lid
The product itself is as expected and of good quality. The redesigned packaging however is HORRIBLE!!! The label was once attached by glue dots and neatly and completely removable. It’s now a sticker that can’t be completely removed. That cover that everybody touches at the store also serves as the lid for the pie. Not only is it now unsanitary, but also unsightly. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to the glue dot system
