Easy Peasey Lemon Squeezey Tilapia

Some chefs deny the good taste %26 texture of these frozen Tilapia, but not me. Defrost about 4 pieces in cold water, about 15-20minutes. Slice a yellow or white onion in half, then lengthwise. Lightly cook these onion slices in melted coconut oil; drain with a slotted spoon %26 set aside in a glass container. Then season the fish lightly with Himalayan Salt, Old Bay, freshly squeezed lemon %26/or whatever to your liking. Gently place the thawed Tilapia in the pan %26 cook on low-to-medium heat until white inside %26 golden brown on the outside colors. Serve on bed of grilled onions %26 a salad %26/or some veggies. Enjoy!!

All I can afford = not bad

This is pretty much the only fish I can afford anymore on a Social Security budget. Having said that it's not bad. It's not cod or halibut or perch, but it's firm and it cooks up well with a little lemon pepper and if I soak it in a little milk for an hour before I bake it. It doesn't stink up the house too bad.
